Keep in mind that the screen may be black if the queuing system is set to only operate during specific hours. Otherwise, here's how to fix the problem.
- Use a narrow tool, such as a paperclip, and push into the hole located under the iPad display in the center of the white frame. If the iPad restarts, it will ask for a PIN code, enter your PIN.
- On the back of the iPad holder there is a round hole in the upper left corner. The hole has an elevated cutting where it is possible to use a needle/paperclip to access the iPad's power button on the top. Hold down the power button for a few seconds to start the iPad.
- Make sure the power cable of the queue is plugged into a working outlet.
